The Varsity Trip is the largest annual student ski trip in the world. Last year over 2500 Oxbridge students hit the Alps, to participate in an event that is older than the Winter Olympics and - with the likes of Calvin Harris, DJ Yoda and Bloc Party providing entertainment in the evening - much more fun!
With over a third of those attending beginners, and many of them Freshers, don't be put off if you have never skied before. For those more experienced amongst you, there are plenty of competitions available, and a wide selection of runs on which to test your ski legs!
Varsity Trip is also well known for being spectacularly good value, and is certainly the cheapest week's skiing you will ever be able to enjoy.
In 2011, the Trip will be growing to 3000 people, and there will be more events, bigger acts, better races, and - fingers crossed - plenty of snow. You are certain to know somebody going, so make sure to sign up fast towards the end of Freshers' Week - last year's Trip sold out in 32 hours!
